46. The Priestly Garments (Exodus 39: 1 - 5)
God commanded Moses to make the priestly garments for Aaron and his sons to wear before Him in detail. However, it's up to Bezalel and the craftsmen to make them. Not just making them but to make sure every piece was made as God had commanded Moses. As we learned later, the garments were not only to bestow Aaron and his sons with “dignity and honor” but also had a foreshadowing of Jesus, the “great high priest”, who would carry out God’s plan of atonement in true holiness and perfection. So, without knowing it, Bezalel and the craftsmen had fulfilled God's eternal will. What could we learn from them?
